Believe it: The Giants are in the Super Bowl

Forgive the once-a-year sports post: The New York Giants are in the Super Bowl! (Getty Images photo) That was one of the most dramatic finishes in league history.
They’ll be big underdogs against the undefeated Patriots, but that’s OK, we like it that way. I’ve been a Giants fan since I was 10, used to cover Giants Stadium and the Meadowlands as part of my beat as a metro reporter, and stuck with them when I moved to California (putting up with those other Giants here in the Bay Area). Since then they’ve won two and lost one Super Bowl.
I may host a party in two weeks. Even if they lose, it’s been a great and gutty year. But if it’s anything like the last time these two teams met, it’ll be a helluva game.

One HELL of a game. Hopefully they can knock the Patriots off their pedestal.
